Jobs defends AT&T

And another nail appears to go in the Verizon iPhone coffin. Steve Jobs said Tuesday, among other things, that he is happy to stick with AT&T since they made the leap of faith to trust Apple with the iPhone when it debuted. Jobs admits that AT&T’s network, while not perfect, is getting better. He just wishes that it was going faster. He also thought that any other national carrier would probably have the same issues if they had the iPhone. Here’s an idea, Steve; LET US FIND OUT!

Directly from the mouths of babes…

Rather than trouble you with recapping the iPad presentation, I figured I’d let you take a look at Steve Jobs’ initial announcement from Wednesday. A couple of things: I love the idea of searching the web on computer that responds to touch without having to hunch over to see the screen, and I like the ability to flip the iPad sideways to engage a different view, but what has me concerned is their decision to remain with AT&T. AT&T, despite the commercials you see, does not have the best 3G coverage. Oh they cover a lot of the country, but the 3G network is extremely spotty. Why would Apple continue to do business exclusively with AT&T? Oh well.

Welcome back Steve Jobs

It’s been reported that Steve Jobs is back on a part time basis with Apple! This is awesome news and I wish you the best of luck and a full recovery. I’m happy to see you return to the helm of Apple as we all know I think Apple is the best option on the market for a home computer and I’d like to see it stay that way! The only way to remain on top is to keep Steve Jobs right where he is, at the head of Apple.

I’d like to take a moment…

I’d like to take a moment to wish Steve Jobs a speedy recovery. From what I hear, he just had a kidney transplant to help recover fro his illness. He’s expected to be back at Apple at the end of the month but I’ve not heard if that’s actually going to happen. He’s proof that the little person can find a footprint in the market place and survive! Get well brother!
