We’ve all had to type a paper or report using Microsoft’s word processing program at one time or another. Settle the divorce over coffee and an app

I can’t believe we have whittled the process of marital separation to an iPhone app. This is technology gone too far. The Estate divider calculates a couple’s marital possessions to try and make the divorce process easier. And if you thought children would be spared, there is an app being developed to help calculate custody.

New Microsoft Office available today

The newest version of Microsoft’s Office software hits the shelves today. You can get the basic version for $150, the $280 version adds Outlook  or the $500 package that has Publisher and Access, a database program. If any of these are too expensive, you can download the four core programs for free from the internet, just be prepared for some features to be missing.

Verizon doesn’t need the iPhone

You know, with all this talk of the iPhone and Verizon, I’ve been neglecting a certain smart phone that is actually gaining popularity and giving Apple a run for its money. The Droid, powered by Google, is gaining a lot of attention and taking a decent part of the smart phone market. So, this looks like it could turn into a two horse race; Apple’s iPhone vs. the Droid.
