There is a 31 year old British citizen who was removed from his job for not removing his hood.  Why was he wearing the hood? Because he’s a Jedi.  That’s right, he is part of the Jedi religion. Apparently, Jedi followers are allowed to wear hoods. Now, I’m not going to turn this into a religious debate, but what I do want to know is the significance of the hood.  Most religions have some reason for their doctrine and clothing, whether you agree with it or not, so what is the point of the hood? I like Star Wars, grew up with the original trilogy, enjoy the prequel, but the only time I saw hood was when people wanted to conceal their identity.  Is this guy trying to hide something?
