Well, I’ve been using Windows 7 now for a couple of weeks and I must say, I’m pretty impressed at how well it’s working for me. I love the new UI, I haven’t had any issues and all my Vista hangups have disappeared into thin air. Looks like I won’t be needing the best computer service Orange County has to offer anytime soon!

So now that Windows 7 has infiltrated the world I’m surprisingly hearing little about it either good or bad. I suppose that’s a good thing because if it was horrible (like Vista) it would be plastered over every blog on the planet. I’m still not sold on it and I’ll hold off for a while but it seems like this might not be the big bust for Microsoft that I thought it would be. Although, when the Google OS comes out, it could be a different ballgame for everyone.
As a guy with several children I can appreciate any innovation that helps to make my children safer and the bladeless fan from Dyson certainly qualifies for this category. I have an old brick home without central air so again, this device will be a welcome site in my house!
Animal behavior has always fascinated me. We act like we are superior but yet the delicate balance that the animal kingdom can maintain without human intervention never ceases to amaze me. They hardly ever kill their own and they can cross species to protect others. These are traits we could all learn to mimic.
Recently a study was done to track the Albatross. They fitted these birds with cameras and the resulting film shows an obvious connection between the Albatross and the killer whale. It’s really amazing!
