The Washington post has an article up regarding the fact that the Homeland security is about to build a center for the study of infectious diseases in Kansas. This doesn’t sound odd until you think about the high rate of tornadoes that fly through that state on a regular basis. So, cultivating air borne pathogens might not be the best idea to prevent wide out breaks of disease! Unfortunately, the government is using outdated material to validate the move. I think It’s been a while since I watched, “the Stand.”
