Microsoft Bing in trouble

By now most people who spend time on the Internet has heard about Microsoft’s new search engine www.bing.com. What’s interesting about the fact that many highly notable bloggers have identified a risk to minors that prevents parents from knowing what their children are doing online Microsoft has not done anything to prevent it from happening. There is no real reason that the video should play from the search page and a simple line of code change would correct the issue and allow parents to protect their children from porn. Microsoft needs to get on board with this very quickly or they risk losing customers!

Yahoo sues the NFL Player’s association

Internet Giant has decided not to renew their lease to use NFL names, stats and photos to help support their hugely popular NFL fantasy football league but they have decided to sue the NFL to see if they can get away with not paying them. From my point of view this is just a big company going after another big company with little implication to the average person (unless you are part of the Yahoo fantasy league.)

If they are using information that belongs to the NFL and/or the payers of the NFL then this will be a pretty quick case and Yahoo will be shelling out the cash to keep their league going. Maybe Yahoo should worry about keeping up with market share and fighting to stay alive in a Google dominated market!
