It really takes all kinds of people to male the world go around but should all of those people have the right to speak their mind in public? That’s such a tough question really. Facebook has been under fire recently for their stand on hate groups posting messages of hate on their servers. Facebook has stated that people have the right to speak their mind and they would not close their accounts.

Yahoo on the other hand has a dedicated department that closes accounts that they deam unacceptable for their servers. They feel that the servers belong to their company and they have the right t police what goes on them. This is the exact opposite of what Facebook feels.

Would facebook go under if they policed their site more or would it attract more people because they would feel more secure using their service? Freedom of speech is not something that every country enjoys and I’d hate to see peoples right to free speech impeded but I applaud Yahoo for their stand!
