What’s up with Radio shack?

I went into Rdioshack the other day to get components for a project I’m working on and to my shock, they don;t carry anything anymore. Now, it’s been a long while since I used RC for any components. Heck, it’s been a while since I’ve been in RC but seriously it seems like they just started selling CD players and Televisions. What a joke! Does no one work on their own electronics any more? Wait, I do!

Huh? Seriously?

Huh? Seriously, people write this garbage and post it on the web? Seriously this just might be the most ridiculous rubbish on the Internet today! I think the person who took the time to write this had the IQ of a piece of… oh wait, I’ll be the person who wrote this got turned down for a date to prom by a geek :)

Warwick Audio technologies

Warwick Audio says they have developed a paper think speaker that will not only revolutionize the audio industry, it will kill the traditional speaker that’s been around for a very long time. My initial thoughts about this? Well, I guess those people who like their car audio systems to be loud will be able to paper every last inch of their car with speakers! That’s really about all I think about it. Being a technology buff I’m always interested in new technology but really, does everything have to be smaller, clearer or thinner to be advancement?

Another reason to go Blackberry

I’m an avid blackberry user and I’m sure I’ll continue to be for the next few decades but this is just one more reason to go Blackberry. BB has been picked as the official wireless device for ticketmaster and soon you’ll be able to get tickets directly from your device. For those of us who buy a lot of tickets this is the only way to go. I can think of many times when I heard about a show and when I got home the tickets were gone.

Star Trek has launched

Am I the only one who is excited about this movie? I’ve been surprised at the lack of interest (even from geeks.) It seems odd that people don’t understand what this ovie is about. Kirk and Spock launched Sci-fi into the world and the genre has continued to push innovation in every day technology. I for one ink it’s one of the best movies of the year and I’ll likely see it a few more times before it leaves theaters. stposter
