Okay guys, get over the term “geek.” It’s what we are and we need to embrace it. I for one beat myself up about it trying to figure out a way to avoid the terminology until I found Geek Entertainment TV on the web. This site has helped me embrace my inner geekdom and now i have become one with myself. Oh, and the newest show has the porn industry in it so how can that be wrong! Do yourself a favor and go embrace your inner geek!
Google has finally released their long awaited refresh of their absolutely fun and arguably worthless application called Google Earth to version 5.0. Now don’t jump on me and say “worthless, you’re worthless”. I’m just saying, I doubt very few people (read few, not ALL) use it consistently for something other than the “neat” factor. Regardless, it is worth checking out and now the oceans are mapped too!
Word has it, the T-Mobile Google G2 will be out at the end of this month. Now I don’t put much stock into rumors but if you think about the frantic pace that Google has been in with getting OS updates (at least 3 updates in 3 months) then it would seem very possible that a hardware update is needed to take advantage of the cupcake build that we keep hearing about. You can only make so many improvements without needing hardware to work them. It’s sad because some of us users have only had our phones for a few months and the most seasoned of users have had theirs for 3 months. Hope T-Mobile keeps that in mind when they decie to antiquate the G1 after 4 months on the market.
