Repair? No, Just Some Air!

Well for some reason, all my post that I wrote over the past few days just decided to go up now and I’m assuming it might be related to my computers crash right in the middle of posting, PC support anyone?  I couldn’t figure out what had gone wrong and thought I may have to send it in for PC repair but luckily it looked like it was just a massive collection of dust that accumulated over time.  So I unsheathed my mighty can of compressed air and cleaned that PC right up.  Hopefully this post will be a reminder to you all to do a little spring cleaning of your PC!

Twittering Terrorist

A recent US military report has laid out details of how terrorist could use twitter to coordinate activities across the globe, including attacks!  There is a great writeup on the New York Times about the report and it completely makes sense and quite frankly, it’s good to see the US military so up on the latest tech trends.  I can easily see how Twitter is the perfect medium to transmit messages to members and I can easily see how it could be used for propaganda purposes as well.

BlackBerry Bold FINALLY to Debut

So talk about a laggard to the party RIM!  After 6 months of the official annoucement of the BB Bold, RIM finally set a release date in stone for the US and it looks like AT&T will get it first as suspected.  RIM has been really taking a beating lately and I really hope this phone brings them back a bit, it looks great and compition is good for all of us.  I do hope that RIM opens up to the idea of releasing on multiple carriers in the future so us CDMA users dont have to wait one year lol!  See InternetNews’ story about it HERE.

Google Earth on the iPhone

Neat!  Thats sums up Google’s newest app for the iPhone, Google Earth.  Now granted this is not a “new” app, but it is new to the iPhone platform and really is a great time waster.  Some issues are that it is not quite as smooth as some other apps and although free, can cost you money to load up if you’re roaming but it still is a nice addition to the iPhone.
